Kite Club Préa was opened in 2002 by Patricia and her husband, Marcio.
Patricia left Hood River, Oregon, USA and spent two years riding her motorcycle alone throughout South America searching for the perfect winds, waves and conditions for kitesurfing!
Three days after arriving in Jericoacoara she bought land and built pousada-hotel Vila Bela Vista and soon after opened Kite Club Prea kiteschool.
After starting a family in 2006, she decided to close her kite school. Now her managers Mosquito and Vanessa have the only school recommendable in Jericoacoara: Rancho do Kite!
